You know that solar energy is "green" Energy. Unfortunately the solar sector rightly has been criticized so far that they do not recycle their used up and old solar modules professionally. Certain pollutants could not be safely disposed that way. And valuable raw materials were lost, such as units of rare earths.

SunClass is a Full memer of PV Cycle, which was set up from comapanies of the solar sector in 2007 - and covers the circle of sustainable energy recovery through renewable energy and environmentally friendly recycling.

How does PV Cycle work? All members commit to arrange a take-back and recycling scheme for their old modules. Calculations show that on average after 25 years solar modules are at the end of their optimal efficiency and should be replaced, because due to technical advances more efficient systems are available on the market.

The first large installations were built in the early 1990s. So until the theme Solar-Recycling becomes really acute it will take 10-15 years. But even today PV Cycle works on optimum production processes to return the valuable resources of used up solar modules to the recyclable materials string - and to dispose the dangerous substances optimally.
